IdeaLab calls for application for “Social Business School (SBS)” within the framework of “Finding Her Voice” program with the support of Conflict, Stability and Security Fund of the UK (CSSF).
Social Business School (SBS) is one of the directions of Finding Her Voice program that aims to provide 40 young women, living in Baku and Sumgait, with the practical skills and resources needed to build a social business. The SBS will be implemented in two waves. 20 participants will be selected for each wave.
The participants of Social Business School will attend hands-on training by professionals on topics such as entrepreneurship, social business, business model for social entrepreneurship, marketing strategies for social business, and other topics needed to build social business. Participants will then submit their business plans, with the help of mentors, to receive support for their business ideas.
The goal of “Finding Her Voice” program is empowering Azerbaijani women to make a lasting contribution to their local communities. At the end of the program, 80+ young (18-30 ages) women will obtain practical marketable skills in three areas: social project management, social entrepreneurship, and visual storytelling. Then, women receive opportunities to apply their newly acquired skills and effect change in their local communities.
The language of the program will be Azerbaijani.
Duration: 3 months;
Starting Date: 1st of October
Who can apply: Young women between 18-30 ages, living in Baku, its suburbs and Sumgait.
